Shephard's Message
God desires that everyone on earth be saved, and that is why he gave up his only son to be sacrificed for the atonement of our sins (John 3:16).
According to the word of Christ, "except a man be born again he cannot enter into the kingdom of God"(John 3:3). We are deeply embedded in sin, and no sinner can enter into the kingdom of God unless they are reborn. To be born again means to have a repentant heart, and to turn completely from the old ways of life into a new way. Christ is that way! (John 14:6).
Our mission is not to tell people what they want to hear, but to tell what the Lord wants them to hear. God is our Heavenly Father and he will only tell us the truth. He may rebuke us and even punish us if need be, but it is done in order to gain our attention and bring us back to his way(2 Timothy 3:16.).
John's ministry preached "repentance," and Jesus also began his ministry with the word of "repentance" (John 3:14and John 4:17). The only way we can be forgiven is by believing in Christ and rejecting the sins we have committed so that we can receive the mercy of God.
Remember the story of David when he committed adultery with Uriah's wife. When God exposed his sin, David was sober and genuinely repented and composed Psalm 51. The Lord forgave him, but we no longer need to compose songs or poems to facilitate repentance. Jesus said "come unto me all ye that are heavy laden, and I will give you rest"(Math.11:28). It doesn't matter who you are; either rich or poor, big or small, straight or crooked, sound or simpleminded- He died and resurrected for all.
Come and worship with us and listen to the word of Christ. Come and quench your thirst for the word of God. May God grant you peace. Amen.
